You know what they say- every man loves cars. I agree with that, but what about bikes? Well, bikes are for the real men! Bike Racing Games offer us tons of fun if we just know how to embrace them and enjoy the fast-paced arcade-ish racing they offer. There really is something special about fast motorcycles like Yamaha or Ducati and it’s so great to see when a gamer or a man loves a great bike or a bike game. In today’s article, we are going to check out such amazing games that let you ride a bike, so strap yourself, it’s gonna be a tough ride. These are the best bike racing games for PC.
1. MotoGP 17
While racing with a motorcycle, it doesn’t always have to be arcade or childish, instead, we can play a great simulation game like MotoGP 17. MotoGP 17 is the newest addition to the already great franchise and it brings the new gameplay, graphics, and game modes into play. If you follow MotoGP on your TV, you’ll be glad that you can race against the most popular MotoGP drivers and… well, maybe get your ass beaten if you aren’t good enough. Also, there’s a great multiplayer which you can access at any time, however, I don’t see many players there, which is really a shame.
2. SBK X: Superbike World Championship
SBK X: Superbike World Championship is another sports game that lets you use the fastest bikes on the Earth to conquer the stages. This computer bike game is phenomenal, guys! Although it’s an old game, it still manages to be on point. The bikes feel great, the sense of speed is surreal and the engines roaring under the “hood” of your motorcycle never gets old. The best thing is that the game offers an arcade, simulation, and multiplayer mode. This means that you can easily choose between the three and enjoy whatever you want or need for this type of game.
3. Valentino Rossi The Game
When we mentioned MotoGP 17, we also mentioned the most popular drivers and kings of bike racing, right? Well, this lad here, Valentino Rossi is going to show you how the motorcycle is driven. The game isn’t just awesome because it has Valentino Rossi in itself, but really, the developers did a great job of optimizing this game and letting us enjoy it. The controls are great, responsive, and perfectly tailored to this type of game. Furthermore, there is a selection of bikes that you can customize and do what you want in order to win the race. It’s a cheap game, so why not get it?
4. Trials Fusion
Trials Fusion is a Ubisoft masterpiece! It’s a 2.5D game, which means that the gameplay is in two planes, while the rendering is in 3D. Let’s call it a 2D game. This racing game is based on the real-life trials series, where the contender needs to go through the various obstacles and finish the race. Of course, this is an arcade game and I’m glad it is because we couldn’t be able to perform such tricks in real life. On top of that, Trials Fusion is bloody HARD. It’s so hard to beat, especially when you get to the final set of races.
5. Test Drive Unlimited
Test Drive Unlimited is regarded as one of the best racing and driving games of all time. The reason for this is the huge open world that the game offers, plus over a hundred vehicles to drive. Sure, it would be cool to drive a Bugatti or Lamborghini, but hey, you should try bikes! Bikes in this game are absolutely phenomenal. I like that the developer included various cameras, and of course, a first-person camera where you can see the cockpit of your car or the steering wheel of your bike. It’s one of the best racing games ever period!
6. GTA V
Upon its release, GTA V renewed the open-world genre and quickly became the staple of open-world games. At its core, GTA V is a shooter game, which offers a lot more than just going and shooting everything you see. Apart from the main story missions, you can drive cars and motorcycles and even do some racing for more cash. In my opinion, GTA V is easily one of the greatest games of the 21st century. Both multiplayer and singleplayer is great, meaning that you’ll have a lot of long-lasting fun.
7. Sleeping Dogs
Sleeping Dogs is like a GTA V packed in another box, packing, or whatever you want. Boasting the same game mechanics as driving motorcycles and cars, exploring the open world, and shooting, Sleeping Dogs is an excellent GTA-like game. While GTA V doesn’t put a big emphasis on melee combat, Sleeping Dogs has excellent brawling scenarios and great fights. On top of that, the game lets you do racing with both bikes and cars, and it’s really a sight to be seen.
8. Road Rage
Road Rage is exactly what it sounds like, a game where you’ll be taken on an epic journey of driving bikes and kicking the butts of the other drivers. Seriously, this game is badass and it’s all about that Road Rage. It’s a game where you can use various melee weapons to dispatch your enemies, so forget about clean racing for a second. No clean and streamlined racing here, but an ultimate road carnage and killing in order to get to the final goal. Let me warn you, this is only for hardcore gamers.
9. Road Redemption
Road Redemption is a bike game for PC that has much to offer and it’s a very underrated game if you ask me. The game is about your bike gang and your way to victory and conquering the roads. Yes, this can be a great singleplayer game, but the real fun comes from multiplayer, which is well-balanced and very fun to play. Now, let me tell you this. The game offers TONS of weapons, a 4-player co-op split-screen, and an unforgettable bike racing experience! What are you waiting for? Go get it!
10. RIDE
RIDE is a beautiful bike racing game that lets you drive across the 15 different locations and enjoy your super-fast bike. It’s a fine balance between simulation and arcade, meaning that it’s very approachable for every gamer out there. Now, there is in-depth customization allowing you to apply new paint and upgrade your bike to be able to beat the opponents easier. Of course, both multiplayer and singleplayer are here, so no worries about the fun factor.
11. Moto Racer 4
Moto Racer 4 is here for those who would like to enjoy a simple, straightforward motorcycle game. That being said, this game isn’t a simulation at all. Forget about realistic physics, and let’s focus on the things this game has to offer. This is easily one of the most fun bike racing games due to its almost-perfect handling, ability to drift and drive your bike in both freestyle or racecourse. This is a great singleplayer game, but also an online game since you can participate in multiplayer races.
12. Trials Evolution
Do you remember that Trials Fusion game we mentioned a few minutes ago? Well, RedLynx and Ubisoft have joined their operations in order to make this game as awesome as it can be. The result? Fast-paced, nerve-wracking, brutal, and fun-as-hell bike racing experience that will quickly become your favorite way of having fun! It’s somewhat like Trials Fusion, but the graphics and the stages aren’t that beautiful due to the game being a tad older. However, expect some fun races and stunts that will make your stomach twist.
13. Wheelman
What if I told you that you can play as Vin Diesel in an action-packed game? Well, you wouldn’t believe me, I know, but for the sake of this article, please trust me. Wheelman is an old game that puts you in the role of… well, WHEELMAN, whose mission is to show you how badass he is. I mean, what can you expect from Vin Diesel, except lots of cinematic action, driving and ramming the shit out of his enemies. That’s exactly what you’re going to get from this game so don’t you dare expect less!
14. Motocross Madness 2
Back in the days when I had a shitty PC with an 8 MB graphics card and not much more RAM, Motocross Madness 2 got to the shelves and I couldn’t play it… pity! Now, I realize how great Motocross Madness 2 is, especially at the time it came out. I mean, just look at the graphics and compare it to the games from that time. Grab a bike of your choice and start racing across the off-road terrains and places where even God himself wouldn’t dare to tread. Yes, it’s dangerous, but a hell of fun!
15. Burnout Paradise
Burnout Paradise is a game that made me love Guns N’ Roses even more. You simply don’t know how well this hard rock music goes with the explosive racing that the game offers. This game lets you drive both cars and bikes and engage in various street races in order to earn some freaking cash, boy! Now, if that doesn’t mean anything to you, wait ’till you hear this. You can perform various stunts with both cars and bikes. How does it sound? If it sounds awesome, you’ll be happy to know that the game is cheap and you can get it now.
16. Redline Racer
Old-school bike racing was never this fun and thanks to Criterion Games, Redline Racer is available since 1999. Criterion Games is a studio that stands behind several great NFS games as well as this phenomenal Burnout Paradise, so expect nothing less from this one. Sure, the graphics aren’t anything jaw-dropping, but hey, the game handles its bike experience pretty well for the time. Try it, you won’t lose anything!
17. Trials 2: Second Edition
Trials… trials everywhere! Trials 2: Second Edition is a second attempt from RedLynx to bring us a compelling, fun, and addictive 2D bike racing game. Although not streamlined like its two younger brothers, Trials 2: Second Edition is still a fun game to play. Sure, the environment isn’t that varied and consists mostly of smaller levels filled with just basic obstacles, which still manage to produce a fair amount of challenge. If you are a newbie to the series, I strongly recommend trying this one and then move to the newer games, just to see a difference.
18. Beach Quad Bike Racing 3D
Beach Quad Bike Racing 3D isn’t that popular title, but that doesn’t mean anything. This free game is here to provide you with unforgettable beach racing where you’ll use only the best quad bikes at your disposal. The reason I say it’s quick fun is that the game doesn’t take much space and it’s a low-spec title, meaning that you can run it on almost any machine. I mean, not Commodore 64, but you know… Pentium 4 will do the job!
19. MX vs. ATV Reflex
Do you like muddy and sludgy terrains? If you don’t, I will politely ask you to leave this section right now! If yes, well… we have a special title called MX vs. ATV Reflex, which is a badass motorcycle racing game from head to toe. As its name says, you’ll have the chance to drive only the best quad bikes, cars, and roaring bikes from MX and ATV. This is your final chance to become a true man! MX vs. ATV Reflex is all about being brave, stepping on your throttle, and leaving your opponents in the dust!
20. MXGP: The Official Motocross Videogame
Motocross is fun to watch, but you need some serious balls to participate in it. Thanks to Milestone, we are now able to play MXGP: The Official Motocross Videogame. This game is all about that motocross and again, driving across the dirty, sludgy terrains. Get ready to perform various stunts, jump and give your bike a treatment of its life. Remember that this isn’t your classic bike racing game, but a game that will give you an experience that you’ll never forget. Be sure to try it out when you can!
