When it comes to E-sports games, Dota 2 is one of the best free games for PC. It’s played by millions of players, and it’s a simplified version of RPG genre, known as MOBA genre. It’s an online game, and the whole concept of the game is to choose your hero from hundreds of heroes available, level it up, customize it, and upgrade it to beat the hell out of your enemies! The world of Dota 2 is amazing, offering you a great freedom to explore it and always find something new. However, if you are prone to an excessive amount of gaming, be careful, this game can literally take over your life! It’s that great!
3. Paladins
I’ve always liked those cartoonish graphics, with great artwork and funny characters. Well, you probably know that I’m mentioning this because of Paladins. What a great game that is! Its artwork is similar to Team Fortress 2, but the gameplay boasts both shooting and strategy elements. Your cartoonish character can also be customized, and there’s a very good and deep customization system. Play it how you want it; you can earn various abilities and powers that you can put to your character’s disposal and rule this game!
4. League of Legends
I remember when 90% of my friends played this game, and I was the only one not to like it. I’ll tell you one thing- I regret those days! League of Legends offers tons of fun and it resembles the gameplay mechanics of Dota 2, but it’s a little more complex. It’s an MMO game, where you can customize your heroes, get various equipment like armors, spells, powerups, and such; and fight against the other players.
Unlike most MOBA games, LoL actually looks pretty damn good for a game that’s played from the top-down view. It’s also easy to get into, and you’ll have an easy time learning the controls. Definitely worth trying, but beware of that warning I put for Dota 2.
5. Apex Legends
PC Battle royale game Apex Legends has revolutionized the genre and is now completely free to play. It features some really frantic action, intense team-based combat, and special character abilities that gives the player a fresh element of strategy. The dynamic landscape of the game keeps you on your toes because there are always new and fresh possibilities or difficulties to face.
The adrenaline-pumping experience provided by Apex Legends rewards both individual talent and collaborative teamwork.
6. Rift
MMORPG genre wasn’t always this popular genre, and I’m glad it got more popular as I am really a fan of this genre. Thanks to that, we have a game such as Rift, which is a free MMORPG, set in a fantasy world Telara, where you’ll embark on a journey, watching as your character level up, fight dangerous enemies, wield powerful weapons and gain special abilities. On top of that, you are in complete control of the character you want to play with, so you can choose from classes like Warrior, Rogue, Primalist, Cleric, and Mage. Well, if you don’t want your butt getting kicked, you’ll better give your best to SMITE, and fight like a GOD!
8. Warface
Warface is one of the prettiest games when we talk about F2P games, and that’s mainly because it’s made in CryEngine, which is known for the Crysis series. This great online first-person shooter plays buttery smooth, and you’ll have pleasure using your weapons and sliding to your advantage. 12. Black Squad
When it comes to the first-person PC shooter, I’m more aligned towards the fast-paced, arcade shooting. However, Black Squad taught me that I need to take my time and admire the game’s physics, graphics, and gameplay. This one plays very well, but the focus here is on realistic physics and graphics. Feature-wise, there isn’t anything special to say, as it’s a military shooter similar to CSGO or Warface, but with more realistic features that make this game distinct and original in its own genre and free-games department.
13. Wildstar
Graphically, this game reminds me of some of Blizzard’s games, and If you like some of Blizzard games, then this one will surely quench your hunger, as many Blizzard developers worked on this game. It’s an Indie title, which sports old-school graphics and gameplay, but I’m sure you’ll like it for its challenging and engaging gameplay.

Path of Exile will offer you both single-player and multiplayer modes, which is great for a free game. This dark fantasy world will not forgive you your mistakes, but neither will players online, so get ready to fight and level up your character, to get better weapons and skills in combat. Wishing you good luck would be the least I can do for you.
