White Dye is a very useful substance available in Minecraft used to change the colors of various objects into white. For example, it allows you to apply it to sheep to dye its wool, applies to tamed wolves to dye its collar, or to tamed cats to dye their collars. Materials needed to make White Dye
- 1x Bone Meal
- 1x Lily of the Valley
You don’t need both of these items. You just need either of them. Unlike many other substances, there is no combinations required to make White Dye.
Steps to make White Dye in Minecraft
We are assuming that you already have a crafting table created and you know how to use it. After having one follow these steps.
- Stand next to the crafting table and right-click on your mouse. It will open the crafting screen.
- Now, just place either of the Bone Meal or Lily of the Valley in any of the boxes as you would like. You will see the White Dye is created in the right section.
- Click on the White Dye and drag it to your Inventory.
You can create as many White Dye as you want based on the number of Bone Meal or Lily of the Valley you have in hand. Just keep right-clicking on the box and you will see it is increasing the number of White Dye crafted as well.
Easy ways to make White Dye
You can create White Dye without having to collect the materials spending hours. These are the methods you can follow.
1. Create White Dye in Creative Mode
If you don’t know Minecraft has a creative mode that allows you to get any of the items available in the game from the inventory. So, you can simply switch to creative mode, press E on your keyboard, then type White Dye in the search box. There you go. You got White Dye. Keep in mind that the creative mode is different from the survival mode. You won’t be able to complete any achievements.
2. Make White Dye Using Minecraft Commands
