During the Xbox and Bethesda E3 Showcase, Microsoft declared the next bunch of games coming to Xbox Game Pass, most of which are coming live on day one. Microsoft conducted its largest Xbox E3 live streaming event on Sunday, the first one in two years. The event was canceled out last year due to the pandemic but was conducted online this year. It talked about almost all the games that we were waiting to hear about: Stalker 2, Halo Infinite, Starfield, and even Diablo II Remastered. Around 30 games were listed to arrive, among which 27 games are coming on Xbox Game Pass Day One!. While the remaining set of games are lined up to release until 2022.
The Game Pass already offers around 100 games for Xbox Cloud Gaming, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC. The new announcement of games clearly indicates that Microsoft is planning on keeping the service as a core feature of Xbox for the upcoming future. June 13 – Yakuza: Like A Dragon
Yakuza: Like a Dragon is the latest entry in the Yakuza series. Unlike its ancestors, Like a Dragon is not an action game, but an RPG with turn-based battles. All Yakuza games are currently available on Game Pass and it is surely worth a play.
June 15 – Among Us
The greatly popular Among Us is now finally coming to Xbox platforms. As the game is now on the Game Pass, it would definitely attract a lot more players and to comprehend with that, Among Us is increasing its lobby size to allow upto 15 players to join at a time.
June 22 – Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance
Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance is a much-awaited spiritual successor to the most favorite Baldur’s Gate RPG series. It was previously expected to come on the Game Pass, but it is now officially acknowledged.
July 27 – Microsoft Flight Simulator (Xbox Series X|S)
The Microsoft Flight Simulator is now finally coming to the Xbox series M|S and it has also reserved its seat on the Game Pass. It was previously available only for PC. It provides you with an assortment of aircraft and you can explore the skies to your heart’s content.
July 29 – The Ascent
The Ascent is an isometric multiplayer cyberpunk-themed action role-playing game that first appeared during the Xbox Series X|S Presentation last year. It is finally arriving in late July into the Game Pass.
August 13 – Hades
Hades is a critically acclaimed rouguelite which was available only on Switch and PC since last September. After much anticipation, it is releasing on other major platforms including Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, and now on the Game Pass.
August 19 – 12 Minutes
12 Minutes is an incredibly promising thriller puzzle where you are assigned to work through a time loop in order to figure out why a stranger keeps invading the protagonist’s home to kill him and his wife. It would be an interesting game to kill time in this Game Pass.
August 25 – Psychonauts 2
After being delayed several times, the much-awaited Psychonauts 2 is finally arriving this August. The E3 conference has also released a trailer for this upcoming game.
September 17 – Aragami 2
Aragami 2 is a long-gone ninja-themed action game, which may be considered as a spiritual successor to the Tenchu series. Originally, this game gave you a single-player experience, but at Game Pass, you can experience this game with your friends.
September 23 – Sable
Sable is an artistic adventure game that makes use of several animation components. The E3 conference has also released a trailer of the upcoming game.
October 12 – Back 4 Blood
Similar to the fast-paced action-killing theme of the Lost 4 Blood series, the Back 4 Blood is much awaited by a huge fan group. Now that it is coming to the Xbox Game Pass, it has become another treat for die-hard gamers.
October 28 – Age of Empire IV
Several updates have been introduced to the long-running RTS Age of Empire franchise. Two new factions and the 100 Years War were unveiled during the conference.
November 9 – Forza Horizon 5
The upcoming sequel to the Horizon series is all set to take place in Mexico. The Mexican landscape will span jungles, deserts, beaches, canyons, ruins, and even a snow-capped volcano.
Scorn
The scorn is a first person horror game, whose art style is very nasty-looking and gory. It is lined up to arrive this fall.
