Finally, the Xbox Game Pass additions for the first half of June 2022 are out. June seems to be a big month for the subscription as it will add multiple big titles. The list is not super long but includes some quality titles from a few years back. The new titles will be added throughout the first couple of weeks of June. The releases are spread across Xbox Cloud Gaming (formerly xCloud), PC Game Pass, and Xbox Game Pass.
If Microsoft’s release patterns are anything to believe, they add games to the Xbox Game Pass subscription in two waves through any given month. The two waves divide the particular month in question into almost two halves. Therefore, after the games we mentioned below get added to the subscription, Microsoft will announce more titles included in the Xbox Game Pass subscription later this month. Keep checking the site for more information on the names and dates and potential changes.
What are the Titles Coming to Xbox Game Pass in the First Half of 2022?
On June 1st, i.e., tomorrow, the subscription will add For Honor: Marching Fire Edition (2018). Ubisoft’s colossal title will be added to both PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass. It will also be added to the cloud and can be streamed without any download times. On June 2nd, Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection (2021) will be added to Xbox Game Pass. This action-adventure hack and slash title from the last year was not a well-received game upon launch. But, the game is good enough to be worth a few hours of your life. The game will be added to Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass. It cannot be played from the cloud.
June 7 will be a big day for the subscription as it will add four titles. The first of these titles is a blockbuster title from 2017. Assassin’s Creed: Origins is set in the Egyptian civilization. It traces the story of Bayek the Medjay as he sets the founding stone of the Assassin’s Creed brotherhood. Origins is also the first game in the new trilogy and focuses on core RPG mechanics. When added, it will be the second Ubisoft title added to the subscription this month. The game will be included as part of Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass and can be played from the cloud as well.
The second title to be added to Xbox Game Pass on June 7 is Chorus (2021). Chorus is a sci-fi action shooter from Deep Silver and Fishlabs. The game focuses on fast-paced space combat. Once added, Chorus can be played via the Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass, and from the cloud too. The third game to be added to Game Pass is Disc Room (2020), an action puzzle-solving game. It is an indie title and was quite well received upon release. Disc Room can be played through Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass, and, like above, also through the cloud.
The last game to be added to the subscription is Spacelines from the Far Out (2021). This title is a top-down action game and can be played on Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass. Cloud streaming is not supported, however.
