Apex Legends is one of the trending multiplayer and best-known battle royale games of the early 2020s. Despite the fact 4 years passed at the time of writing, the game still has a huge player base and continues to grow. This is mainly because it’s based in the Titanfall lore but thousands of daily Twitch streams help the situation further. It is undoubtedly EA’s most successful title in recent years, and photorealistic graphics coupled with crazy good optimization make this game a worthy recommendation. That brings us to the system requirements of Apex Legends.
EA requires you to have at least an Intel Core i3-6300 @3.8 GHz or an AMD FX-4350 @4.2 GHz quad-core processor coupled with an NVIDIA GeForce GT 640 1 GB or an AMD Radeon HD 7730 1 GB. EA did not mention the resolutions or frame rates these specifications can achieve. But, considering the average performance of these systems, they can surely run the game at 720p 30 fps.
To play the game at 1080p 60 fps, EA recommends you to have at least an Intel Core i5 3570K @3.40 – 3.80 GHz or an AMD FX 8350 @4.0 – 4.20 GHz coupled with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 4 GB or an AMD Radeon R9 290 4 GB. These requirements are pretty acceptable for 2021 standards, however, considering this is a 2017 game, these are pretty demanding.
Apex Legends does not support Nvidia DLSS or AMD FSR, unfortunately. Thus, players with weaker graphics cards cannot boost their frame rates. However, EA recently added support for Nvidia Reflex. This will help competitive gamers to an extent by lowering in-game latencies.
