Far Cry 6 is a spectacular game. It truly exploits the power of the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X|S. But, Ubisoft has optimized the game pretty well. Although optimization isn’t as good as some other 2021 titles, Far Cry still nails it on some 4-year-old hardware. The game requires you to have at least a Ryzen 3 1200 and an RX 460 or a GTX 960 to get into the fictional country of Yara. The lower slab isn’t perfect, as the game runs perfectly fine on some even older hardware.

Far Cry 6 Recommended Video Cards for Running the HD Texture Pack
Far Cry 6 also comes with an HD texture pack which is very demanding. Ubisoft states the minimum VRAM requirement to run the HD texture pack is 16GB. This limits the HD texture pack to just a handful of cards. Thanks to the semiconductor shortage, not a lot of people own these cards either.
